Classes are offered on-site at your facility* for your convenience, and can be combined to customize a class specific to your organizational needs.
Online & Hands-on Courses
Blended courses are recommended optimal learning (online portion combined with hands-on skills session.) Participants can complete course sections at their own pace and validate cognitive learning by answering questions throughout the content. Blended options are available for most programs and can be scheduled well in advance of in-person skills testing to keep emergency care plans up-to-date.
Adequate indoor floor space must be available to accommodate seating and equipment. Social distancing may be required.

Heartsaver CPR
Learn the basics of adult, child, and infant CPR with hands-on training. Designed for individuals with little or no medical experience, this course provides the confidence and skills needed to respond to cardiac emergencies. Advanced CPR Training for Professionals

Be Prepared, Wherever Adventure Takes You
Wilderness and Remote First Aid
The course is based on the 2010 Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, and helps course participants learn how to respond to more than 25 first aid emergencies – during times when help may be delayed. It's a great resource for scouts, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone who works in a remote environment.

Advanced Training for Life-Saving Professionals
CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers
The CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers Participant’s reinforces key points from the CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers course. Designed to simplify learning during class, includes skill sheets with full color photos detailing skill steps and serves as an important resource once training is complete. Topics include: foundational concepts for professional rescuers, assessment, breathing emergencies, ventilations and airway management, and CPR/AED and team response.

Rapid Response Skills for Critical Situations
Emergency Medical Response
This is designed as the primary source of technical information for participants and instructors. It includes key terms, learning objectives, critical facts and scenarios to test knowledge and decision-making skills. It also features pediatric and geriatric considerations and step-by-step skill sheets. The information in the class is designed to meet or exceed National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards Emergency Medical Responder Instructional Guidelines and the care steps outlined are consistent with: 2015 International Consensus on CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations, 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, 2015 American Heart Association and Red Cross Guidelines Update for First Aid.
Essential Life-Saving Skills for Any Emergency
First Aid/CPR/AED
Be ready and prepared to care for an injured or ill person using first aid, CPR and AED skills. This provides information regarding recognizing an emergency, the emergency action steps, recognizing cardiac arrest, signs of a heart attack, giving CPR, the cardiac chain of survival, how to use an AED, care for choking, care for sudden illnesses and other life-threatening injuries. There is additional information and skills such as how to assist with an asthma inhaler, epinephrine auto-injector, splinting, tourniquet application and naloxone administration.
Professional-Grade CPR for High-Stakes Situations
Basic Life Support
Emergency care components covered for adult, child and infant patients include recognition and care for patients experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction and opioid overdose. The Basic Life Support Participant’s Manual has recently been updated to the technical content within the Red Cross Basic Life Support course. The participant’s manual is consistent with the most current science and treatment recommendations from: The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2020 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science with Treatment Recommendations and the Red Cross Focused Updates and Guidelines 2020.

Babysitter's Training
The Babysitter's Training provides an assortment of materials to better assist and prepare babysitters on the job. The Babysitter's Training is filled with information and resources useful for in class and on the job. The Babysitter's Training Emergency provides instructions to handle common emergencies such as bee stings and asthma attacks.
